Hospitality

Every guest leaves with the menu, the booking link and you

A guest or event planner taps your card and your profile opens on their phone: the menu, a link to book a table or a room, the venue on a map and your direct number. For hotels, restaurants, venues and the sales and events teams behind them.

A sample profile for this industry

Where paper cards fall short

  1. Menus and packages change every season

New menu, new wedding package, new rates for the conference season. Printed cards and brochures are out of date within months, and planners end up working from old prices.

  2. Hotel sales teams turn over

Sales managers and events coordinators move between properties. When one leaves, the corporate clients and planners they knew are in their personal phone, not in the hotel's system.

  3. Guests speak many languages

In Dubai, Riyadh, Muscat or London, your guests might read Arabic, English or both. A single-language card leaves half of them guessing.

How Nexus helps

  • Menus and packages as PDF

Attach your menu, wine list, meeting packages or wedding brochure as PDFs. Replace them when the season changes and every card already handed out shows the new version.

  • Bookings and deposits from the profile

Link your table booking page or room booking engine, or add a Booking card for Calendly, Cal.com, TidyCal, Google appointment schedules, Microsoft Bookings or Zoho Bookings for site visits and tastings. A Pay button takes a deposit for an event or a large table through your own Stripe Payment Link, PayPal or a Gulf provider such as Tap, Ziina or Mamo. The money goes straight to the venue.

  • Arabic and English profiles

Build your profile in English and Arabic, with Arabic set right to left. Guests read it in the language they're comfortable with.

  • Show the space

Add image carousels of rooms, terraces and ballrooms, and a short video walkthrough. Event planners see the venue before they ask for a site visit.

  • Planner enquiries straight to sales

A lead form can ask for event date, guest count and budget. With Exchange, planners send their details back from your profile, and a paper card handed over at a wedding fair can be photographed into your contacts. On Pro and Teams, contacts sync to HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive or monday.com.

  • A card that matches the property

Choose metal in black or gold for a luxury hotel, wood in walnut or bamboo for a restaurant with natural interiors, or full-colour PVC with your own artwork.

A day with Nexus

A day with a hotel events manager

  1. 9:00

    New season, new packages

The meeting packages for the autumn conference season are ready. The events manager uploads the new PDF, and the old one disappears from every card in the sales team.

  2. 11:30

    A site visit

A planner looking for a venue for a 200-guest gala tours the ballroom. She taps the manager's card, opens the photo carousel of past setups and saves the contact.

  3. 15:00

    Guest relations in the lobby

A family checking in asks about the rooftop restaurant. Guest relations taps the card on their phone, the profile opens in Arabic, and they book a table for eight o'clock.

  4. 18:00

    The enquiry arrives

The planner books a tasting from the Booking card and pays the date-holding deposit with the Pay button, straight to the hotel. Her lead form with date and guest count lands in the team's contact list and the hotel's CRM, and the director of sales sees it in team analytics.

For the whole company

One brand across every outlet and property

On the Teams plan the hotel or group sets one template with its logo, colours, address and booking links, and locks it. Put people in departments such as sales, events, guest relations and each restaurant, with a manager for each. Order cards for the whole team, hand them out from the card pool and reassign them when staff change. When someone leaves, offboarding returns their card to the pool and their corporate contacts stay with the hotel. Team analytics show which teams are sharing and how many contacts they bring in.

Questions people ask

Can I put our menu on the card?
Yes. Upload the menu as a PDF to your profile. When the menu changes, replace the file and every card shows the new one. No reprinting.
Do guests need to install anything?
No. Modern iPhones and Android phones read the card with NFC and open the profile in the browser. Older phones scan the QR code on the card.
Can the profile be in Arabic?
Yes. Profiles can be in English and Arabic, with Arabic shown right to left. See our pages for the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
We have several restaurants and a hotel. Can we manage them together?
Yes. On Teams, each outlet can be a department with its own manager, all under one company template and one bill. Each person has their own profile and card.
Can guests pay a deposit from the profile?
Yes. Add a Pay button linked to your own Stripe Payment Link, PayPal or a Gulf provider such as Tap, Ziina, Mamo, PayTabs, Telr or Thawani. Guests pay that provider directly and the money goes to the venue; Nexus never handles it. Booking tools such as Calendly can also take payment while booking.
