Wood is a natural material, so treat it gently. Keep it dry and away from direct heat, and don't leave it soaking in water. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Over time the surface may pick up a little character from use, which is part of the appeal. If a card is lost, switch it off in your dashboard.

Can I put my logo on a wooden business card?
Yes. Your name and logo are laser-engraved into the wood. Engraving is a single tone, so a logo works best as a clean, one-colour mark. We send a proof before anything is made.
Does an NFC chip work inside a wood card?
Yes. Each wood card carries the same NFC chip as our other cards. A tap on any modern iPhone or Android phone opens your profile, and the QR code on the back covers older phones.
Will my cards all look the same?
The engraving is the same on every card, but the grain isn't. Wood is natural, so each card has its own pattern and slight variation in tone. That's part of its character.
Which wood should I choose?
Bamboo and maple are light, so engraving shows up crisply. Walnut is deep brown and the most striking. Cherry sits in between with a warm red tone. Try each one in the preview on the cards page.
Are wooden business cards a sustainable choice?
