Cybersecurity

A business card your audience can inspect

Security buyers ask hard questions about anything that touches data, including your business card. Nexus opens a profile in the browser with no app, no tracking cookies and no stored IP addresses. Contact details are encrypted at rest, and the facts are published on our security page.

Where paper cards fall short

  1. Paper at a security conference

You spend the day talking about zero trust and data handling, then hand over a slip of paper that gets photographed, retyped by hand and lost. It's a small irony, and buyers notice it.

  2. Digital cards that track too much

Many digital card tools lean on cookies and visitor tracking. A CISO who taps a card that quietly profiles them won't trust the vendor behind it.

  3. Contacts scattered across consultants

Pre-sales engineers, pen testers and account managers each collect cards at Black Hat MEA and other events. Those contacts end up in personal phones and leave when people do.

How Nexus helps

  • Privacy by default for the person you meet

Profiles load in the browser with no app and no tracking cookies. Analytics are anonymous, IP addresses are never stored, and locations are city-level only.

  • Contact data encrypted field by field

Details people share with you, lead form submissions and integration tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM in the application, on top of TLS with HSTS in transit. Data is hosted in the EU.

  • Accounts locked down

Hashed passwords, breached-password checks, optional two-factor authentication, passkeys and rate limiting protect every account, and companies can sign in with single sign-on. Audit logs record security-relevant actions.

  • Your service sheets and advisories on tap

Attach your SOC service overview, incident response retainer sheet or a threat research report as PDFs. Link your responsible disclosure page and add a Booking card so a buyer can book a scoping call there and then.

  • Leads that stay with the company

Exchange and lead forms collect visitor details into one company list. Lead enrichment adds a contact's company and role from public professional sources only, with every source shown. Export to CSV, sync to HubSpot, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365, or send contacts to your own systems with signed webhooks.

A day with Nexus

A day on the floor at a security conference

  1. 09:00

    Stand opens

A head of security operations at a utility stops by. She asks what your card collects before she taps it. You tell her: no app, no tracking cookies, no IP stored. She taps.

  2. 11:30

    After the talk

Your researcher finishes a session on ransomware groups. Attendees tap her card to open the full report as a PDF and follow her on LinkedIn.

  3. 14:00

    Procurement question

A buyer asks where the data from your card lives. You point him to the security page linked on your profile: encryption at rest, EU hosting, data export and deletion on request.

  4. 17:30

    Handover to sales

Every contact the team collected is in one company list and already synced to the CRM. Sales enriches the top leads from public professional sources before the follow-up. Nothing sits in anyone's jacket pocket.

What you get

  • No tracking cookies and no stored IP addresses
  • AES-256-GCM field-level encryption at rest
  • TLS with HSTS in transit
  • Single sign-on, SCIM and required two-step verification
  • Audit logs and breached-password checks
  • EU hosting, data export and deletion on request
  • PDF service sheets and research reports
  • Signed webhooks, six native CRMs and CSV export

For the whole company

Least privilege for your card programme too

On Teams, lock the company template so nobody ships an off-brand profile. Set per-person access rules, give department managers only the people they manage, and route profile changes through approvals. The card pool lets you assign, reassign, block or replace cards centrally, and the audit log records security-relevant actions. Offboarding returns a leaver's card to the pool and keeps their contacts with the company.

Questions people ask

Do you have SOC 2 or ISO 27001?
We don't claim any certification. What we can tell you is exactly what we do: TLS with HSTS, AES-256-GCM field-level encryption, hashed passwords, optional 2FA, breached-password checks, rate limiting, audit logs and EU hosting. Read the details on our security page or contact us with your questionnaire.
What does Nexus collect when someone taps my card?
A visit is counted anonymously, with city-level location worked out at the time of the visit. We don't set tracking cookies and don't store IP addresses. Personal details are only collected if the visitor chooses to send them through Exchange or a lead form.
Can the NFC chip be used to attack a phone?
The card holds a link to your profile, nothing else. It works like scanning the QR code: the phone opens that address in the browser, and nothing is installed.
What does lead enrichment look up?
Only public professional information: a contact's company and role, found on the public web with the sources shown so you can check them. It's an optional feature on every plan that uses credits, with some included each month. Your data is hosted in the EU, and you can request an export or deletion at any time.
Can we control who edits profiles across the company?
Yes. Teams has per-person access rules, department managers, approvals for profile changes and audit logs. See Nexus for teams.
