Looking after it

Keep your card flat and away from heat, like any bank card. Don't bend or punch it, as the NFC antenna runs inside the card. Wipe it clean with a soft, dry cloth. If a card is lost, switch it off in your dashboard and it stops opening your profile straight away.

Questions people ask

Can I print my own design on an NFC business card?
Yes. Upload your artwork when you request cards and we print it in full colour, edge to edge on both sides. We send a proof for your approval before production. You can also preview your design on the cards page.
Can every card in a team have a different name?
Yes. Each card is personalised. Send us a spreadsheet of names and titles, or give each person a company-branded card and let them fill in their own profile. See how it works for companies on the Teams page.
Does the person I meet need an app?
No. A tap on any modern iPhone or Android phone opens your profile in the browser. iPhone XS and newer read the card at the top edge of the phone; Android phones read it on the back. Older phones can scan the QR code instead.
What happens if my details change?
Edit your profile in the dashboard and the card shows the new details on the next tap. Only the printed text on the card is fixed. You can also point a card to a different profile, and the QR code follows it.
Can a PVC card also be our staff ID and door pass?
Yes, with the all-in-one enterprise card. It's a PVC card with a printed photo ID and an access-control chip alongside NFC, matched to your building's readers. Talk to us about your setup.
PVC, wood or metal: which should I choose?
PVC gives you full colour and is the easiest to roll out across a team. Wood is warm and every card's grain is different. Metal is heavier and made to impress. All three carry the same chip and QR code.
